A genuine vintage-style linen pillowcase with 100% down-filled insert. The pillowcase features a real 1885 map of North Carolina taken from a small pocket atlas of the United States. Many small details make this an interesting specimen of North Carolina history - for example, the spelling of New Bern with an 'e' on the end dates back to the first Swiss settlers who were from the Canton of Berne. Beautiful shading on the coast and hand-drawn topography in the mountains lend visual interest to this pillow.
