Ontario Tea Towels

City of Kingston Vintage Map Tea Towel

City of Kingston Vintage Map Tea Towel

This tea towel features a 'plan of Kingston, Frontenac County, Ontario' from 1877. Queen's University, founded in 1841, is marked as 'Queen's College', on the site of Summerhill, the stately limestone mansion where the university had its first permanent home. A bustling harbour shows many wharves and the original name of the harbour, Kensington Harbor. The wards of the city are shaded in colour; Rideau, Lawrence, Sydenham, Victoria, etc.

A great collector's item for the Queen's alumini on your list!

Makes a great gift!

Details: This is a 100% linen tea towel, approx. 16 x 25 inches.
